Movies are one of America’s favorite pastimes, and the way in which people rent movies has changed dramatically over the years. There was a time when movie lovers would have to the drive to a video store in order to rent a movie. As technology has evolved greatly over the years, Netflix is now the movie giant. In the early 2000s, Netflix tried to make a deal with Blockbuster several times, but they would not agree to the business deal. This business decision ultimately landed Blockbuster in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy and out of business.
