8. Take Time to Play at Work
Many of the leading companies, such as Google, let their employees play at work. They have writable walls, slides, and balls at work. Increasing your playtime at work can give you a little bit more quiet time. Playing with building blocks, for example, has been proven to increase creative thinking. These types of activities let workers write down ideas, build things, and do things that are proven to increase creative thinking skills in the workplace environment.
The opportunity to play at work also increases workplace happiness. Taking time away from a stressful project can allow a worker to return to the project with a stress and worry-free perspective, helping them channel their creative efforts into successful project completion. If your company has “playthings” at work, use them.
