(8) Man’s Search for Meaning, by Viktor Frankl
This book is a story of one person’s experiences in Auschwitz Concentration Camp. It is a difficult read, but contains one transcending message: that people can make it through anything as long as they have meaning to do so. Frankl’s story is a sad one. While at Auschwitz, he lost his entire family, including his wife. As Frankl returned from Auschwitz, he was able to find meaning in his life by helping others find their meaning. This is a great book for putting the important things into perspective.
