7. Make SMALL To-Do Lists
Making a list of tasks for a particular day can be extremely helpful. Keeping a scheduling book or calendar with time slots during the day can help you keep appointments, while allotting individual work time to complete a task. However, many life coaches and professionals recommend keeping daily to-do lists small and manageable. If there is an unfinished task at the end of the day, your mind will keep nagging you about it. Also, a specific task should have a “next action.” If you need to pay a bill, for example, the next task should be to mail the bill. By following a logical, sequential schedule during the day, you will increase your will power, as well as become more efficient at completing tasks.
