8 Books That Every Entrepreneur Should Read

Time - Money

Every entrepreneur needs an inspirational title to get the creative juices flowing to start their own business. These eight titles, we found, helped the entrepreneur think critically and inspirationally about their business.

(1) The 4-Hour Work Week

This book, written by entrepreneur Timothy Ferriss, explores the ideals and lifestyles of successful business owners. If you are sick of your 9 to 5 job and want to have the lifestyle that you want, this book offers some tips for how to make your business work with your lifestyle. Instead of responding to emails and performing small menial tasks that were related to his job, Mr. Ferriss explored the productivity of checking your email only once per day and outsourcing some tasks to virtual assistants. This is a great book if you want to spend less time on your business. This book is also based off of several lectures that Ferriss gave at Princeton University.

An important message in Mr. Ferriss’s book is that we can ultimately effect change in our lives by cutting out the unnecessary tasks. This message helps the business owner focus on building their company, rather than spending an excessive amount of time on daily tasks that take away from the joy of doing business.
